The Annual Lalbagh’s Independence Day flower show for the year 2015 to get started on 7th August and the show will be held till 16th August 2015. Over 3 lakh flowers are used to made the replica of Bangalore Palace which measures at 45 feet length, 35 feet height and 20 feet width is going to be the major attraction for this flower show.
Twice every year Lalbagh Botanical Garden conducts flower shows once during the Republic Day of India and the other one during the Independence day and each of every flower show witnesses several lakhs of footfalls.
Pramodha Devi, Rajamata of Mysore Wodeyar family and Krishna Dutta Chamaraja Wodeyar will inaugurate the event at 11 AM on 7th August 2015.
The entry fee for the flower show on 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th of August will be Rs 50 and Rs 40 during remaining days. The entry fee for the children below 12 years will be Rs 10. There will be no entry fee for students on 14th and 15th of August 2015.
