Fifth National Numismatics Exhibition to be started from tomorrow 21st February and will be held for three days till 23rd February 2014.
Thousands of coins worth lakhs will be auctioned in the exhibition. Some of the extremely rare coins that are going to be featured in the auctions are Haidari, half anna coins issued by Tipu Sultan and nearly 3000 years old silver coin belonging to Pauravas of Kausambi region.
Along with the rare precious coins, Rupee 1 and 5 notes of King George VI which were in use even after independence will also be auctioned at the exhibition.
There will also be an exhibition to display stamps and 4 to 16 year old children coins collection.
Marudhar Arts, a Bangalore based auction company is conducting the exhibition.
The exhibition will be conducted from 10am to 6pm at Bell Hotel, next to Bangalore city railway station and there will be no entry fee to the exhibition.
