The Butterfly Park, Bangalore is located inside Bannerghatta National Park and is the first Butterfly park in India.
The park was inaugurated on 25th September 2006 by India’s then Union Minister of Science and Technology, Kapil Sibal.
The park is spread across 7.5 acres and features a museum and a audiovisual room inside.
A living environment with humid climate, appropriate flora and an artificial waterfalls was created inside the park to attract more butterflies.

The park will be opened from 9am to 5pm everyday except on Tuesday on which the park will remain be closed.
