About Ragigudda Temple
A belief about the temple name is Ragigudda is, a big heap of Ragi transformed into a stone and hence the name. During the transformation Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara visited the place and transformed themselves into three big stone pillars with an intention staying at this place permanently.
Every year Sri Hanumajjayanti is celebrated grandly for 12 days featuring special abhishekas, homas, poojas and Maha Prasada will be served to the thousands of devotees everyday.
This is one of the beautiful and famous temple and thousands of devotees from surrounding areas and other places visit the temple everyday.
Ragigudda Temple Puja Timings
The temple will be open for devotees for Dharshana from 8am to 12 noon, 5pm to 8.30 pm during weekdays and from 8am to 1pm, 5pm to 8.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
