Kempegowda Museum to be established at Freedom Park

KempegowdaOne of the tourist and historical attraction of Bangalore, Freedom Park to have another attraction under its hood, Kempegowda Museum.

Kempegowda is considered as the founder of Bangalore and was a feudatory ruler under Vijayanagara empire.

Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) allotted Rs 4cr for establishing Kempegowda Museum at Freedom Park. The museum will feature several belongings of Kempegowda and will provide deep insight about him.

Freedom Park used to be a central jail earlier which was later converted into a park.
