The Public Utility Building located in the MG Road used to be tallest tower in Bangalore till the year 2008 and was used to be one of the popular tourist attractions of the city earlier.
The building stands at a height of 106 meters and was constructed in the year 1973. The building lost its number one tallest building of Bangalore credit to UB Tower when it was constructed in the year 2008 which in turn stands at a height of 128 meters. Now the building’s name is changed to Subhas Chandra Bose Tower.
