The Biennial air show of Bangalore, Aero India 2015 to get started at Yelahanka’s Air Force Station on 18th February and will be held for five days and the event will get concluded on 22nd February 2015.
On the first day the show will be held from 1pm to 5pm and during the remaining days from 9am to 5pm.
More than 100 types of Military and Commercial aircraft from several countries across the world are getting ready to participate in the premier air show.
Some of the attractions of Military segment aircraft will be MiG-29, 35, Su-30MKI, F-16, MK-132 Typhoon, Super Hornet, Rafale, Eurofighter etc., and some of Commercial segment attractions will be Boeing 737, 777, 787 Dreamliner etc.,
Indian made Tejas is also going to be one of the major attractions of the show and will promote ‘Make in India’ campaign.
During the weekdays of the event, that is on 18th, 19th and 20th visitors will be allowed to Air Display Viewing Area only and during the weekend (21st and 22nd) visitors will be allowed to both Air Display Viewing Area as well as Exhibition Area.
Tickets for the event will be sold from selected banks which will be informed by the organizers. Ticket price for Air Display Area will be Rs 600 and to the Exhibition Area Rs 2500. There will be no fee for the children below 5 years.
Entry to the show will be given only when the visitor produce their unique ticket registration id number as well as
government issued photo id such as passport, driving license, voter card etc.,
